Life Coaching for Actors

it’s time to stop playing small.

you’ve been an actor, performer or artist for some time now. You’re surviving, but not really thriving.

You consistently compare yourselves to others – and find yourself coming up short. You put any wins or achievements down to luck, the right place at the right time, or having the right people around you. Your inner critic relentlessly beats you up for past mistakes, failings and missed opportunities. When you do get auditions or acting work, you’re terrified of being found out as a fake or a fraud. You’re desperate to make proper money doing what you love without having to rely on other sources of income to pay the bills.

Either way, at the end of the day, you’re completely exhausted.

You’re 100% committed though and you’re prepared to move mountains to make your dreams come true (maybe you already have). You have oodles of talent, plus you have the hard evidence that you can make this work.

What you don’t have - at least not yet - is the career and life you’ve always wanted.

But that’s still within reach.

All you need is a coach. And that coach is me.

Over the last seven years,
I’ve helped 769 actors
pursue their dreams.

My work with Bea gave me extraordinary bravery to approach all sorts of agencies I have previously felt were out of my league. I am happy with my new agent and have had more acting opportunities as a result.

Meet your coach.

hello, i’m bea! I’ve dedicated over seven years of my life helping people like you get out of your own way.

There are many reasons actors come to me for life coaching but one thing they all have in common is: they sense something is holding them back.

I will work with you to grow your awareness and help you unlock the incredible tools and resources you already have. It’s all there —you just need to know where to look.

Having worked in the performing arts and entertainment industry my whole career, I have a deep understanding, empathy and expertise for supporting people just like you. Before training as a coach, I had a successful career in theatre marketing working with companies such as Almeida Theatre, the National Theatre, Polka Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, Ambassadors Theatre Group and Sonia Friedman Productions. In addition to this, my long-term partner is also an actor so I understand the compromises and sacrifices it takes. Hey, I even wrote an article about it.

Because I understand how the industry operates, we can bypass lengthy explanations and dive straight into what matters most.

Together, we can start crafting the life and career of your dreams.

Don’t just take my word for it.

“You always had the power my dear,
you just had to learn it for yourself.”

Glinda, the Wizard of Oz

what is your coaching like and how can it help me?

My coaching is rooted in the deep belief that our bodies hold profound wisdom. By learning to listen to and cultivate a compassionate relationship with ourselves, we can experience significant growth and healing. I will work with all of you: your body, heart, mind and soul, to build your confidence and self-belief, whilst helping you to uncover the answers you're seeking.

My coaching is unique in that it combines ancient yogic philosophy and knowledge from the East, with the latest evidence-based neuroscience from the West, all designed to support you in growing your mental and emotional resilience, as well as your ability to perform under pressure.

Coaching can support you to think and act more clearly in any area of your life lacking energy and direction, or which feels blocked or just plain ‘wrong’. Coaching has been proven to help develop new positive neural networks, helping you to respond more calmly to stress, to make clear choices more confidently, and to access much more of your potential creativity.

My clients describe my coaching as joyful, intuitive, playful, nurturing, creative, adventurous and powerful. I will listen to you deeply with my full attention, giving you space to think, to feel and to be heard. You can count on me to be honest and straightforward, asking clarifying questions and making empowering requests.

My theatrical background gives me a creative, playful and improvisational style that I use when clients feel stuck to help them see ‘outside the box’. I will not seek to dish out advice or ‘solve’ your problems but will hold a safe and welcoming space, and ask powerful questions which will help you to think, to feel and to see things more clearly for yourself.

Over the many years I’ve been coaching, I’ve found that actors and performers resonate deeply with my (Co-Active) coaching style, mainly because embodiment comes so naturally to you. Additionally, Co-Active Coaching —originally developed by two actors in the United States—aligns perfectly with this approach, blending the art of performance with personal growth and development.

“you get there by listening to what’s inside yourself.”

Brie Larson

choose courage over comfort

There will be times when I’ll encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and choose courage over ease. Growth often requires us to face uncomfortable truths and make bold choices, even when they’re hard. It takes bravery to look at your life honestly and acknowledge when something isn’t working, but this is the first step toward real transformation. If you’ve read this far, it tells me you’re ready to change your life.

Investing in yourself—your time, energy, and resources—is a big decision. I want you to know I am 100% committed to your growth and success. I am here to help you build the life you want by unlocking the strength and incredible resources you already have within you.
